About Us

heartWhy Stinkey Monkey? Why pudding?

Well, once upon a time a hero and his lady used to enjoy desserts all the time.  Yet with each tasty bite, something began to distress our damsel: she was having allergic reactions first to dairy, then to soy, then finally from tree-nuts. The two lovebirds could no longer enjoy their desserts together, and their lives became dull and flavorless.  Something was lost, yet something was gained: an idea! A dessert, made from the best natural ingredients; a project, born of love! After many tries our hero finally developed the pudding now known as Stinkey Monkey, a chocolate pudding made to please and meant to be enjoyed. Once again, love and laughter ruled the roost and their special friendship was saved and pudding was savored. As for the name, well, why not give the pudding the same playful pet name our hero gave his lady? Stinkey Monkey, made with love and a backwards E!

The Company

We at Stinkey Monkey are dedicated to creating delicious desserts. We believe that when we educate ourselves about foods, and put healthy things into our bodies, a funny thing happens: we begin to feel better about ourselves, about each other, and about life.

The Benefits

A dessert? A medicine? Casein Free-Gluten Free diet (CFGF)?

Each ingredient in Stinkey Monkey Pudding contains properties that have been known to harmonize the body. To learn more about each specific ingredient we recommend you visit our Nutritional Information page.

We were very excited to discover that our pudding is suitable for individuals following the Casein Free/Gluten Free diet. This has become very beneficial for some children with an autistic spectrum disorder and people who suffer from celiac disease. Studies have shown that for some children certain foods have been linked to digestive problems and behavioral issues. More specifically, gluten from grains and casein from dairy can have an adverse affect for autistic children.  When ingested, the gluten and casein form opioids, a substance that can cause behavioral changes. Although not yet scientifically proven, many families have observed overall improvements in the health and well-being of their children, by avoiding gluten and casein.  To learn more about how the CFGF diet can help with autism we recommend that you visit Austism Nutrition.

Celiac disease is a genetic disorder which affects children and adults. People with celiac disease are unable to eat foods that contain gluten, a substance found in wheat and other grains. In people with celiac disease, gluten sets off an autoimmune reaction that causes the destruction of the villi in the small intestine, causing damage and illness. Stinkey Monkey Pudding prides itself on being gluten-free.
